My kids love them and they are so easy to use. They are very comfortable and even our daughter's feet stayed warm! Can't wait for next winter's ice!I bought these for my grandson. They are very well made. Will last a few years too. These skates are amazing! Both of my daughters loved them! Highly recommend.Pluses1. The adjusting is very easy and the boots seem very sturdy despite them being adjustable.2. Super comfortable and easy on/off process at the skating rink3. Relatively sharp out of the box4. To the people who say it is hard to adjust, loosen the laces a bit and take out the strap to make the adjustment easier.I highly recommend these skates for beginners! Hope this review helps!I’m glad I got this as an adjustable one because the sizing seems small. My son likes it a LOT better than the rentals we were getting at the ice rink.Love it good quality. My grandson has small ankles, the top strap is not able to properly tighten due to a design flaw that makes the strap hit a grommet on the back of the skate before it is tight. This can be overcome by putting on heavy socks. Make sure you get the skates sharpened before use!Great beginner skates, my ten year old daughter loves them. Very comfortable, good padding. First time on skates (is very good on roller blades) and she skated like a pro. Highly recommend! These are great fit perfectly! An my son loves themThose are perfect for leasure skating! My 9 years old son loves them. They look very nice, are easy to fasten, and the adjustment mechanism means he will be able to use them for some years at least. My son says they are very comfortable. I was very surprise and a bit skeptical to find them so good for that price. And they came with blade guards, which is cool.Only tiny complaint: the laces might be a bit too long. There was a low hanging end the first time my son used them and he skated over it, cutting the lace. Easy to fix, but still. Also, don't forget to have them sharpened before first use :)I have just taken up ice skating & I felt very comfortable in these skates. I am in my mid 30s with a 7.5 shoe size. The 5-8 adjustable skates work perfectly for me. I adjusted them 2 clicks. It was very easy to do so. I was up & skating on my own, in center stage on the first day. I feel that I owe part of my success to the fact that I know how to roller blade, but these skates do help a lot. My husband who's also a beginner at skating, purchased a pair of hockey skates at a local shop & feels that the skates are holding him back. They are probably too advanced for him to learn how to skate. He regrets not purchasing similar adjustable skates.I must add that I went to the store & tried on a few different types of skates first & I found the adjustable kind to be the most comfy & stable, but too pricey. These skates at Amazon looked very similar to the store skates & much cheaper. They indeed fit quite similarly to the store skates & arrived in no time. On the smaller settings the blade sticks out in front of the skate so much that it's hard for them to really get a handle on skating properly. Wearing these my daughter struggled to get the right stride to allow her to skate properly and glide across the ice. If your child is on the smaller end of the advertised size spectrum and you want them to learn how to skate properly and seriously, I'd personally recommend buying cheaper skates in the proper size and up-sizing as necessary instead of investing in these. If you only need skates for a child who goes maybe once a year and doesn't need to know how to skate properly then I suppose these will do the job.
