Got these for my husband. Last year this time he fell on ice and broke 4 ribs that are still healing so didn't want him to fall again. They fit great over his shoes and boots. One problem is that already lost one of the traction tabs otherwise he loves them.I wear a size 13 shoe and boot, and purchased the XL size cleats. I was concerned the cleats would snap in the process of putting them on my boots. They did not. And they did not come loose or fall off. And they provided positive traction on snowy and icy surfaces.I will be more impressed if they last a year or two. Their design is simple so if the materials are good and the design properly engineered, there is no reason they will not last. I can't assess that except by experience. I would also note (i) it takes two hands to put them on properly (but they can be removed with one), (ii) they are made in China - in case that is relevant to your decision.Lost two cleats first time I wore them
