What is the point of making riding pants that can’t hold up to saddle rubbing! It’s so frustrating to pay almost $100 for pants that cannot even stay intact for one show. Her lesson breeches are the same she is just happy with the fit. She is tall and very slender and Kerrits fit her well. The quality and craftsmanship are really lacking for what you pay.Love the Kerrits Ice Fil rights for Schooling! They are worth the money and holdUp wash after wash (just hang dry ofCourse !) Just know when purchasing khaki/ tan Color tights the ones we received have a “greenish” tint to them in some lighting; If it wasn’t for my daughter needing them so last minute I probably would have returned just based on the colorAlone , it’s not terrible but it certainly is not your traditional khaki color, so beware! Otherwise they do a great job just like all of her other pairs ,Just wasn’t super fond of the green/khaki combo color...These are great pants and they last a long time, but the full seat part hoes away after awhile. But all in all, these are great pants and last a decent amount of time!So very happy with these schooling tights. My daughter typically wears a girls 10, so we went with the Large. Perfect fit, with leg room to grow. No specific feedback on the "ice fill" aspect from her yet, but definitely a good summer weight riding pant, regardless. These will also double as running leggings if we need to get more mileage out of them in the fall. These have significant stretch and and a sheen like most technical pants. The seat has subtle gripping for the saddle, but not enough that totally limits these to riding. They have washed well on delicate cycle so far, with hang drying. The seams are sturdy. Well worth the price tag.I give this product 4 starts because the fit was to small order a size up warning you right now this is not a scam. I also ordered this product and when I got it out of the package the seems we're coming undone that is why I am returning these mostly. The style is supposed to fit snug and like a legging though. Just make sure your seems aren't coming undo. I am ordering the same size I just ordered and also a size up. I ordered a size large and a size extra large. I am 5'0 and 78 pounds and 14 years old.My daughter loves these pants for riding! She prefers these over all other riding pants. It's her 3rd pair over the course of 4 years. She wears them at least once a week and I wash and dry them after every wear. Over time they do eventually fade and thin some, but I have been very pleased at how long they hold up! None of the 3 pairs have been retired yet...all are still wearable. And they are very forgiving, fit-wise. This teal color is, by far, the prettiest color of all the ones we've purchased.I ordered these for our very skinny yet very tall 9 year old. Her waist measured 26.5" around and fell on the size chart between a L and XL. We bought the XL thanks to all the review's on here saying that the pants were tight and small. I never would have guessed that she would be an XL but they fit well - thankfully as they do not have belt loops on them to help between half sizes. Go for the bigger size, you will need it. Don't forget to air dry these only after washing!Beware of the color “tan”. They are like a sage green that does NOT resemble tan at all. Will be returning.
