I've had really good luck with mine. The kids absolutely love it. My original one lasted about 3 years and one small part broke so I ordered a second one. For the price, I didn't mind getting a second one. The kids use it consistently and their friends love it when they come over.This is a really cute icemaker that looks good and works Great!!! Very easy assemble andto clean. I have it in my counter this summer for the hot days for my son, I only hear him making so many of then easy for your kids to use safe, ofcourse we all know are kids so it doesn't hurt to wach them let them know their finger don't go under blade while On or Off.!!!So much better than the Snoopy version we purchased last year. This year, my son wanted a "real" one and we considered real cooking versions, blender versions, old time versions, but was eventually swayed by the dual cup holders and the VIDEOS-THANK YOU FOR THOSE! We have had similar experiences, and if he could he would have snow cones 3 times a day. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!!!This was a gift, but the recipient is pleased with it.loved it till it broke.. made it almost a yrIt's bright and beautiful; it worked as indicated it served my purpose; the kids enjoyed the snow cones, therefore I don't have any complaints.I ordered the first one for my granddaughter and the motor didn't work. I was returning it and ordered another one and they didn't ship the bowl. In process of returning the second one and the third one arrived and seems to work and have parts. This is several weeks after my grandaughters birthday. Hope it works for her. reading other reviews they say the mot burns out quickly. have my fingers crossed it works for her. She was so excited to have the Jelly belly ice shaver!This has worked great! Make sure you buy the flavored syrups because there aren't any included. We also bought the silicone snow cone cups which are nice. Easy to use and easy to clean up.
